This is the day we have been waiting for.....beach front condos with a pool between the condo and the beach. Full kitchens, washer and dryer in each unit, all the comforts of home. A 7:00am walk on the beach in my pajamas....started the day off with a bang!
Many cups of coffee later, (starbucks at that!) and breakfast at Flamingo Faye's the day just got better.....swimming in the pool, reading a book, tooling around the island on a bike.....the first day off I've actually gotten on a bike.....
The best part was limited cell service and very spotty internet, so the phone and the computer were locked away....didn't even get them out until late....just to get the blog updated......
Tomorrow we start with a ferry ride, off the island...then we're in the panhandle of Florida, our last state!!!
It is just so hard to believe....it's almost over......
